Transportation Designs

An important area of activity of AKKT - Consulting Engineers, is that of transportation designs. This department specializes in the drawing up of road construction designs, interchanges, traffic designs and traffic junctions.The content of road construction designs is subject to the Design Instructions of Road Construction of the General Secretariat of Public Works of the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change as well as to approved specifications of recognized bodies when this is required by the framework of each contract (for example Instructions for Road Construction Designs – Ο.Σ.Μ.Ε.Ο.). Among these activities is also the provision of expert advice for transportation issues as the engineers, who undertake these designs, are specialized in Transportation (MSc). Finally, our company undertakes the preparation of tender documents (a detailed project’s budget, proclamation issues, contract documents, detailed invoices) in accordance with the legislation in force, thus ensuring that the public body - client, is able to auction its work.
